Dear friends,

I'm working on so many projects at the same time that my brain is about to explode. I had hoped to reveal a couple of these projects today but I'm not quite ready yet. There's no point in announcing something that's not fully completed, right?

All I can say is that things will become more and more exciting as the year moves forward!

So instead of talking about things that will possibly perhaps happen in an undetermined not-so-distant future, I'd like to focus on something VERY solid, VERY real and VERY amazing.

I'd like to present to you the following highly successful authors (check out their names, I suspect you will know some of them) :

What's up in the neighbourhood?

We're incredibly fortunate right now in the sense that we have a fully vaccinated house (except for our youngest), 82% of the country has had a first vaccine shot and over 50% have had two vaccine shots. Along with that, we've had some incredible weather on the West Coast, which makes for a perfect summer vacation atmosphere.

I spend my morning working and writing, then take my kids from one beach to another. There are so many to pick from! We did some kayaking, visited a Van Gogh expo, strolled around Granville Island (which features in Ben Archer and the Cosmic Fall - see below) and I'm quite proud of my garden veggies this year. This is my third summer growing vegetables and I seem to be getting better at it. I didn't know cucumbers had little thorns on them, did you? Needless to say, my above-mentioned 'projects' have been slightly delayed, sorry, hehe.

Anyway, I look forward to finding out what other fun activities August has in store for us!

What are you doing this summer? Let me know (raeknightly@gmail.com).

Behind the Moon by Salma Yakubu

Left to fend for herself from a tender age, Tara moved to Park Street, a dirty-dark secret town where she met Ahmed, a misogynistic playboy with a doleful past. With time, they develop a trusting relationship which, in turn, builds Tara's confidence. Behind The Moon is a slice of bittersweet tale of survival, loss, love and moving on.

The Secret of the Realms (The Keeper Archives Book Two) by S.T. Sanchez

(PREORDER)

The Kingdom of Rastella teeters on the brink of disaster as Ajax is desperate to rescue his friends who have been captured by a paranoid king driven by fear. With danger mounting and new enemies appearing, time is running out for Ajax and his friends. Ajax’s developing power might be the key to saving the kingdom, but can he wield it in order to save those he holds most dear, or will his own magic become his undoing?

All the best!
