Did you see it yet?
Dear friends,
Well, that turned out to be an exciting September!
Ben Archer and the Star Rider (The Alien Skill Series, Book 5)
Ben Archer and the Star Rider (The Alien Skill Series, Book 5), published on September 17, 2020. It hit the Amazon bestseller list in Middle-East and horse fiction and has already sold 250 copies. Aside from that, 200 among you downloaded your free ARC-copy at the beginning of the month!
I'd say that's a pretty awesome book release, considering it's the fifth book in a series!
And for those of you who have already read it, I'm sorry I left you 'dangling at the edge of a cliff'. It left some of you frustrated and begging for more. What can I say, except you'd better prepare for the big finale!
- What have readers said so far?
- "This series keeps getting better."
- "Well played!"
- "An Adventure Packed with Cultural and Eye-Opening Experiences."
- "This book in the series has it all..."
- "A truly seat-gripping, heart-pounding adventure with a cliffhanger that will have you begging for the next book to come out soon."
- "An intense adventure readers won't want to miss! And that cliffhanger... WOW!!!!"
Thanks, everybody! Your comments fuel my imagination and boost my energy to write more. 🤩

- For a little backstory, I was a bit worried about using quotes from the famous book The Little Prince by French author Antoine de Saint-Exupery in the Star Rider. It took a lot of research and intense back-and-forth conversations about copyright issues before this got resolved. So it was a relief and a privilege to receive the direct seal of approval from the people who safeguard Exupery's legacy. These are the types of details authors have to solve behind the scenes.

I was planning on releasing the Toreq Son before Christmas, but with virtual schooling kids and not knowing what else 2020 has in store for us, I decided to play it safe and will publish the Toreq Son on March 4, 2021. That's only 6 months away. You can wait until then, right? Just don't bite your nails to stubs in the meantime, please.

What's up in the neighbourhood?
Yikes...
That must be the trick question of the year because, well, nothing's up, really.
We've decided to continue self-isolating, considering that there are two immune-sensitive people in our home and because scientists keep talking about a second COVID-19 wave. Are we exaggerating? Maybe. Maybe not.
But we figure we're fortunate enough to be able to make this decision because schools are offering virtual schooling to our children, my husband is on disability leave and I... well, you know what I do. lol!
The most exciting thing that's happened this month (besides celebrating my birthday) is that my children have gotten more TikTok likes in 3 days for their cat videos than I have for my books in 3 months. Sheesh! I'm hiring them as my new marketing team!

Before he was the man who took down the Council, Don O'Hara was just a boy with a dream.
Don O'Hara was lucky.
At least, that's what everyone else said.
Born the son of a general, with a guaranteed ticket to Pre-Command, Don had his future laid out for him. Only, he didn't want that future. All he ever wanted was to be a Space Jumper.
Lucky for him, he never lacked guts.
Space Jumpers is an action-packed, YA Sci-Fi origin story that sweeps readers along as Don takes his first steps toward achieving his life-long dream. To get there, Don will have to oppose his father, the O'Hara legacy, and other forces beyond his control.
But at what cost? And who will he sacrifice to get there?
