🛑 Stop...you probably need to ground

Hello!
I've been thinking about grounding lately and sharing some info and practices and so I wanted to make sure you saw this too.
What is Grounding?
Grounding is the process of establishing a solid foundation and being balanced between the spiritual and the physical and connected to the Earth.
Most people don’t realize that they aren’t grounded. The hectic pace of modern life and all the technology that comes with it makes it easy to be in our heads and ungrounded. Many people working on their spiritual path also wind up ungrounded when they don’t have a regular grounding practice.
Grounding or Earthing?
If you were to do a search for “grounding” you would see some sites that only talk about walking barefoot outside (and some other similar contact-with-the-Earth type things). This unfettered contact with the Earth is Earthing. Earthing is a type of grounding.
Grounding encompasses earthing but also covers additional energetic-based practices that don’t involve standing barefoot or touching a tree. As you can see in the Venn diagram, grounding encompasses earthing but earthing doesn’t define all of grounding practices.
Some Basic Grounding Techniques
Here are some basic grounding techniques you can try:
 Stomp your feed - Yup, just stomp your feet a bit

 Carry or wear grounding crystals - in your pocket or bra, or wear a bracelet or other jewelry with grounding crystals

Story time…
Someone came to me at the suggestion of a friend. This person had been feeling a bit anxious and unsettled. After my typical “I’m not a doctor, etc” bit I started the energy session. There was a lot of swirling, ungrounded energy going on.
After the 15 min session was complete (it was at an event) they took a nice deep breath, which they hadn’t felt like they could do before, and commented that they felt much more calm and relaxed. A definite win!
Yes an energy session with me can help, but there are basic steps that you can do yourself to help keep you in a more grounded state on a regular basis. Some I’ve shared with you, others are in my grounding guidebook, but this is something anyone can help themselves with even if they don’t have any experience with energy work.
