I've never claimed to be good at math.

Hey, amazing humans!

You may have noticed that last week's email proclaimed that Chapter 15 of Undertow was available on the website, and as some of you pointed out in emails and messages to me, that was not, in fact, the case.

I thought I'd written a chapter ahead based on my quick tally of how many chapters had been posted. I'd like to blame my miscalculation on my younger self, who had a major attitude about all math-related learning which resulted in a massive information-retention issue. However, I'm not sure I can sell that excuse in this case. I mean, I expect my five-year-old son to reliably count to fifteen, sooo...

Anyway, I hope you'll forgive me and that we can move on. 😆

I do have a new chapter of Undertow this week, and now that I have written and edited my contemporary western M/M romance duet, Long Winter and Signs of Spring, Undertow finally has my full attention! And just in time. I always get a burst of energy around a project's midpoint, and I am definitely riding that high with Undertow right now. I'm hoping to drop an extra chapter along with the scheduled installments in the next few weeks as restitution for last week's counting fail.

Long Winter released today!

I've come to think of Long Winter as the story equivalent of a campfire. Cozy, intimate, and a point of warmth and shelter in a dark, sometimes frightening wilderness. The book brought me great comfort when I wrote it and I hope that readers find a similar feeling in its pages.

If you already have your copy and still want to help support the book, you can do so with a review. 💜 Long Winter is in all the major e-book stores.

Last call for ARC readers for Signs of Spring!

I've already distributed the first round of ARCs for Signs of Spring. If you don't know, ARC stands for advanced review copy, and it's a copy of the book made available before release in the hopes of gathering some reviews before release day. If you would like a copy of Signs of Spring and you will consider leaving an honest review, you can fill out this form. If Long Winter is a night around the campfire, Signs of Spring is the hike down the mountain the next morning. It takes the relationship that blossomed between Robbie and Lance in solitude, and proves it can survive in the wider world.

Last, and Late, but not Least--Undertow!

Here it is! The real, actual, factual Chapter Fifteen of Undertow! You can read this chapter, and all the other completed chapters, on this page of my website.
