We are definitely living through some interesting times here in the good 'ol USA. I know that's the case for many other people around the world as well. I'm channeling my anxious energy into writing and reading. I hope you're finding an outlet and taking care of yourself, too.

Many of you joined me through the recent, massive Prolific Works giveaway, where you downloaded Long Winter, a full-length, contemporary western MM romance. If you haven't checked out the book yet, I hope you enjoy it. If you have read it and you're wondering about the sequel, I have good news: Signs of Spring is scheduled to be sent to my beta reader on Monday, January 18, and then to my editor on Monday, January 25. After that, I'll be looking for ARC readers—people who get a copy of the book in exchange for posting an honest review.

What I'm reading

I just read Roommate by the fabulous Sarina Bowen. This small-town, slightly angsty, and super-steamy contemporary MM romance met my lofty expectations! I'm not a particular fan of small-town romance, but Sarina managed to capture the idyllic aspects of that style of story while still making the stakes feel high between two lovable, but damaged, men. If forced proximity, childhood crushes, sexual awakenings, and banter are things you enjoy, you won't want to miss this one.
