August Free Historical Romance just for you...

Hello Romance Readers,

Summer vacation for my kids is over...

They went back to school on Monday, the start a new school year and that means I'm back in the writing cave working hard on Wallflower No More.

A HUGE thank you to all for you who preordered and purchased Wallflower Gone Rogue. I sincerely hope you are all enjoying the Revenge of the Wallflower series.

I was able to make a small dent in my TBR list over the summer but I didn't get to read as many stories as I'd like. Why you ask? Because I decided to read books that were on my daughter's kindle reading list so we could have a mini bookclub and share thoughts on storylines. Thank goodness she's like me and enjoys romance with guaranteed HEA's.

What have I been reading along side my daughter?

Sports romance - ice hockey, football, baseball etc...

Some have been friends to lovers but the majority have been enemies to lovers.

I personally favor friends to lovers.

If you love the enemies to lovers trope, I'd love to hear from you, hit reply and let me know why. What is your favorite enemies to lovers historical romance?

Book News

Unfortunately, there will be no more new releases in English from me in 2024.

I'll be working hard for the remainder of the year on Wallflower No More that will hit your eReaders on Jan 7th 2025.

This month's FREE BOOK is Winter Hearts by Rebecca Paula.

Sabina Bradford grew up touring the Continent with her parents, living a hundred lives as a thief, a fortune teller, and an oracle. Now grown and a nurse at London Hospital in Whitechapel, she's put away her make-believe for a life of caring for the sick—until a misunderstanding ends with her fired and left to the East End streets mere weeks before Christmas. On the verge of being taken away by the police, Sabina is saved in the nick of time by a mysterious and powerful stranger who will turn her fortunes upside down.

When Julian Ainsworth discovers the beautiful nurse being fired from London Hospital in the alley adjacent to his casino, he takes action. Hedging his bet that she's the solution to his new and unwanted ward, he asks her to be his wife. Content with being married to the management of his casino, he leaves his bride to run his house and care for the child. But the passion brewing between them makes their marriage of convenience decidedly complicated. Julian has a decision to make: to go all in on a chance at love or lose it all...
