Plus. our FREE Feud Night continues on in Denver.
And, of course, a bonus round of trivia at the end about food during the holiday.
Come To Our Indie Board Game Showcase in one of Six Cities
Come play a slew of board games so new, so underground that some of them haven’t even been invented yet! That’s right, our Indie Board Game Showcase event is back, and this year it’s going nationwide!
We will be hosting this event in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, D.C., Chicago, and Denver. In each city, we’ll have a fleet of local game designers, giving you a chance to hop from table to table, play new games, and meet the brilliant minds behind them. We’ll be showcasing everything from early-stage prototypes to finished products available for purchase, with something any game lover can enjoy, with party games, strategy games, and everything in between.
And for those of you who have attended before, the majority of the games will be either ones we haven't shown at previous events or significantly edited versions of things you played last time.
Have you designed a game you'd like to show off at this event? Fill outthis form by end of day January 6.

Another Night of Our Pub Trivia Murder Mystery in Milwaukee
Come solve a murder...by playing Pub Trivia! Gather your friends for "The Case of the Poisoned Patron." Each round, your group will answer trivia questions, which will, in turn, unlock details of the murder, uncover backstories and ultimately answer the greatest question of them all: Whodunnit?
- Jan 31st | St. Francis WI | Faklandia Brewpub | Tickets!
(If you've played this murder mystery in Milwaukee at Indeed Brewing, we do ask you not to play again as it will be the same questions. But we are planning to build a new murder mystery later in 2026.)
Feud Nights
Have you played our Feud game yet? We've polled 100 people and asked them some pretty life-altering questions, like "What’s one job you shouldn’t work if you are afraid of heights?" And now it's up to you to guess what they said. This is happening the 2nd Wednesday of every month at The Empourium in Denver (except for December), so gather your friends, and come play!
- 2nd Wed every month | 7-9pm | Denver, CO | The Empourium | Free Tickets!
Feud Night is one of our staples here at Quirk Events. But to pull off our games, we need your opinions in our latest survey! Thank you for your critical input. (This is a brand-new survey, so if you have taken a previous one, we would love some fresh insight on our new earth-shattering queries.)

Food at the Holidays
Can you answer these holiday questions about food?
- What obsolete holiday treat, known as a luxury confection for hundreds of years, can be found, in some form or another, dancing in both The Nutcracker and A Visit from St. Nicholas?
- A few years ago, a Christmas tree farm run by several members of the Religious Society of Friends was surprised to get a letter threatening a trademark infringement lawsuit from a lawyer at a major company that was famous not for Christmas Trees, but rather for making what breakfast food?
- According to research by the Miriam-Webster dictionary, the term "Friendsgiving" rose to prominence after a 2011 ad for what brand, which also started offering a seasonal "Apple Pie Liqueur" in 2020?
- What chain, with nearly 5,000 locations (mostly in Canada), has a holiday menu that includes a Polar Bear Dream Donut and Gingerbread-Filled Muffins?
- Thanks to a massive marketing campaign in Japan, it is now customary on Christmas Eve, to eat fried chicken from what American chain?

Okay, that's all for now. Thank you for being a part of the Quirk Events Universe. And, as always, game on!
