Greetings!
Although it may not seem like it, I've been incredibly busy this past year, and just about all of it has been for folks like you who have hitched along for the ride. Once again, I want to thank you all for taking a seat on this particular crazy train. I couldn't do all of this without you.
The Novelettes
So far this year, I've completed three separate novelettes appearing in Chris Kennedy Publishing anthologies. The first was in the Latest Salvage Title anthology It Takes All Kinds with the story "Stahnikhar's Wisdom," featuring another story with the Vorwhol. The next was "Mustang's Last Ride," in And Then It Got Weird. That one is a nod to "Blucifer," the Colorado landmark outside DIA airport. Finally, I wrote a story about a young blacksmith who needs to face down a terrifying monster as his rite of passage into manhood. It's titled "A Rhakha for the Tokonn" and will be appearing in Talons and Talismans (Libri Mysteriorum Book 2) coming out early in November.
However, that's not the BIG news.
The Novels (and something special)
The BIG news is that I wrapped up my draft of Paladin's Light the third book in Tovak's tale set in Marc Edelheit's universe. He's working on his pass now, and we expect that novel to come out early in 2022. It's a fantastic wrap-up to Tovak's journey from lowly Pariah to... well... something more. I'm not going to spoil it for you.
The even bigger news is that, since February, I've been working with four other fantastic authors to create something truly amazing. We're calling it Eldros Legacy, and the plan is for each of us--as well as five cohort authors--to spend the next eight years or more writing some truly EPIC fantasy fiction.
The five founders of Eldros Legacy (Todd Fahnestock, Marie Whittaker, Mark Stallings, Rob Howell, and myself) will be writing three separate trilogies all tied to each other and culminating in one gigantic meta-story that will be our version of Frodo throwing the One Ring into Mount Doom.

I'd like to encourage you to sign up for the Eldros Legacy newsletter, if I can. I know, I know... not another newsletter. While it's true that you'll be getting most of what's happening over there from me in my soon-to-be regularly-scheduled newsletters, there will be more going on over there, and coming from at least ten authors to begin with.
