New videos, podcast and question: What are good times for you to join a Pungra Club session?

Oct 12, 2020 6:59 pm

, last week I hosted two Pungra Club sessions. They were on Wednesday 1PM to 1:20PM and Friday 1PM to 1:20PM. It was great to welcome you to join Davina and I in our living room following along to Pungra videos.

I am running two sessions this week as well, on Wednesday and Friday from 1:00PM to 1:20PM. If you want to join, please message me on m.me/ravisandhu8 so that I can add you to the group.

A few people have told me that they'd prefer different times, such as weekdays at lunchtime, but also evenings and weekends. I want to get a bigger picture of times.

🔢 Here's a bit more about how to join a free Pungra club

image

  1. Message me on Messenger to join a club.
  2. Become familiar with accessing Pungra videos on YouTube, preferably on your largest screen, such as a television.
  3. Keep a close eye on times and these weekly emails, for slots to join in which we'll exercise together.
  4. When it's time for your session, get your choice of Pungra YouTube video ready, and join the Messenger Room on your mobile.
  5. Continue to engage, enjoy and banter with your club throughout the week. And exercise at other times too.

I recommend switching your video on, but you don't have to. It's better that you join in the best way that works for you.

♣️ If you're interested in running your own Pungra Club

image

I am hosting a meeting this Friday 1:30PM to 2:00PM on Zoom. It's my hope that you can join, check out what I and others have to say about being an Activator. If you can join, or would like to watch the recording afterwards, please reply so that I can ensure you're included.

If you are interested in running your own club, but just want to try one out to see what is involved, please message me. I will organise a session at a time that works for you, essentially to show how straight forward they are to run. Please reply with 'Run me an Activator session dude'.

🎧 Podcast - Exercising outdoors, or indoors, it's all great with Punjabi music

image

I received my certificate in Outdoor fitness recently, hear about how that went and what Polly thinks of exercising outdoors.

We have been making new videos and placing them onto YouTube, but had some technical issues with the microphone, which is why you can't hear me. I hope that's resolved from this week, and that next week's videos will include you being able to hear me talk. Hear from Nusrat about what it's like to make YouTube videos.

I'm a huge believer in the power of music for making exercise motivating. Hear from Heleny about why Punjabi music is great to exercise to. This week I started my Pungra Club, and people exercised at the same time as me. Find out why being an Activator is like running a book club.

🧠 The next podcast will be about mental health

image

I've been thinking about the exercise, fitness and mental health connection for weeks, considering the question, 'what perspective can I add to the conversation?' I have an idea, and it involves the notion of narcissism. Before I make the podcast episode, I want to hear your thoughts. If you have experience with narcissists, especially in respect to dance, fitness, exercise and similar, then tell me. Either email me, or message directly so that others can hear you on the podcast using this link: Anchor Pungra Message.

📺 New videos on YouTube

image

I just uploaded new videos to YouTube, including exercise to tracks by Sunanda Sharma and Ranjit Bawa. I hope you'll check them out, follow them regularly and share with your family, friends and colleagues.

🤝 Share to motivate others

image

We need to get our family, friends and colleagues more active. To help you raise awareness of our free videos there is a new section on the Pungra website, from where you download a video clip to share on platforms such as WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or any others that you use. Have fun with is, and get the word out.

🗣️ Give me your feedback

Whether you've followed videos alone, or with a Pungra Club, please provide feedback on your experience.
