Emails are for everyone

Hey there,

Hope you have been doing well.

Lately, I have been thinking a lot about emails. All aspects of it.

Email marketing. Formal emails. Informal emails. Cold emails. No emails.

The insane amount of time I have been spending on creating email marketing campaigns caused my brain to go on overdrive.

But then I thought, everyone's email inbox must be flooded to the brim.

Yet sending emails is something that most people dread.

The fear of typos, not saying the right thing the right way, or that anticipation as to the fate of the email that we are about to send.

Here's what I have to say, being a person who's more email than text or call.

Don't overthink it.

As with everything in life, please don't do it to yourself. Instead, follow a simple step-by-step process.

  1. Zero down on the primary message you want to convey.
  2. Start with a warm greeting and niceties.
  3. Get straight to the point.
  4. Give an idea as to exactly what you are expecting.
  5. Close with a warm thanks or regards.
  6. Check for typos and grammatical errors.
  7. Hit Send.

That's it. It's as simple as a walk in the park on a pleasant spring morning.

I hope this helps you gear up and step your email game up a few notches if you needed this.

Until next time...stay safe and take care!

Proma
