Hey everyone!
I've got 4 things to get on your radar today. I've dropped the TL;DR at the top and the details below if you want to read more.
- Last Call to register for tomorrow's (May 21) Product Coffee with Amy Graham of Pragmatic Institute: Register Here
- Voting for ProductCamp ON>LINE™ closes today, so get registered and get your votes in ASAP!
- Wednesday May 26 - Product Coffee with Steve Johnson: Maybe we Should Be Problem Managers!
- ProductCamp Happy Hour Event (In Person!) Wednesday May 26 as well!
The Details:
Product Management is one of the most exciting—and most misunderstood—functions in technical organizations. Is it strategic or tactical? Is it a planning role or a support role?
In this session, we’ll examine many product activities and artifacts for product strategy, planning, and growth, and introduce a simple tool that you can use in your organization to clarify the roles of product management and others.
About the Speaker
Steve Johnson is an author, speaker, and product coach using modern methods to move products from idea to market. His approach is based on the belief that minimal process and simple templates result in a nimble product team.
Steve has been a long-time advocate for product management, serving as an executive and advisor to many technical product organizations and industry associations.
The program begins at 8 AM, but you can join as early as 7:30 AM for extra networking if you like!
Once you register, we'll share details for the Zoom meeting.
Are you ready to meet up in person?
Since the CDC has advised that we can safely venture out if we are responsible, I thought it would be great to get some of our Atlanta Product community together for a pre-summer celebration and happy hour.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Our event will be on the covered patio at the Brass Tap in Dunwoody, so it is outdoors
- If you are not yet fully vaccinated against COVID-19, please skip this event out of respect for the safety of your colleagues. We'll have more this fall!
- Masks will not be required, but feel free to wear one if it makes you more comfortable.
- This event is not sponsored, so please plan to pick up your own tab. Or, if you want to sponsor and buy a round of drinks, let me know and we'll work it out!
- Light appetizers will be provided.
