, many software generate horoscopes in no time.
But what would you do if your time of birth is wrong?
See, I was working on a bit older chart from the 1800s a few days back.
Even though I got the information from the birth certificate...
...But the chart was wrong!
This confused me a lot, I couldn't figure out why is it happening.
Is it the time?
Is it the software?
But then I noticed something I had never thought about.
I can bet it is something most of us ignore completely.
THE TIMEZONE!
Yes.
Timezone is an important factor because many countries, states/provinces change their time zones regularly.
For example, Phenix City, Alabama, USA uses UTC -4 hours from somewhere around March.
And changes to UTC -5 hours around October (1-hour gap).
But the software doesn't know this.
Do you see how important the TIMEZONE is?
You could be reading the wrong chart!
So how do you fix this, and find out the correct timezone?
- Simple, go to "timeanddate.com"
- In the world clock search bar, type in your place of birth.
- Once you're in, tap on the time zone option.
- You'll find the history and future of your location's time zone.
- Identify the correct timezone, and use that to create your kundli.
I'm glad India's timezone hasn't changed since 1946.
This is something every Jyotish student should know so I'm sharing this with you.
So from this moment make sure to correct the timezone first, it will help you be more accurate.
It's time I go back to work on the series I told you about.
Talk later,
Prithvi Jyotisha
