Oh my goodness! Do you believe I almost forgot Resurrection released today?

Why? Well, I’ve been kind of preoccupied with what I’ve been calling my ‘bonus project’ since it’s a book that wasn’t on my schedule at all this year. And yes, of course, there’s a story behind this particular book. You see I bought the cover in a sale, not actually for myself, but for my good friend, Chloe Kent, since Reverse Harem is her niche, and she wasn’t online because she had visitors.

I told her I’d happily keep the cover if she didn’t want it, and she decided it was a tad too racy for her since Amazon likes to throw her books into the erotica dungeon where their visibility is low.

I actually love this cover, and as it happens my own best-selling novel is my reverse harem book, Smokin’ Cowboys, in the Loved by Three multi-author series. Well, I had the opportunity to add another book to that series, which was never my plan, but suddenly, here I was with a cover for it. And then came the dream! Lucid dreaming is a quirk of mine. It’s not the first time I’ve been gifted with a storyline in such a way. So, it’s like fate was trying to tell me something.

Anyway, I’ve been writing Stranded alongside Resurrection, doing a little deal with myself that if I hit my target word count on that, I can sneak a little work in on the other.

Honestly, I don’t usually work that way, but you know… fate. And I’ve been putting in lots of hours because I wanted to get it out before Christmas, hence my forgetfulness.

I also have a ‘secret’ project I’ve just completed, which I’ll tell you about next time. It’s kind of different, so I’m just waiting for the proofs before I let it loose on the world.
