Let me give you a peek inside our classroom this week.

We were teaching the Business Analysis Core Concept Model, one of the most foundational frameworks in Business Analysis. And instead of just walking students through it the traditional way, I demonstrated something different.

I pulled up a custom AI assistant I built, one that is trained specifically on Business Analysis principles and frameworks. I call this one the BACCM Analyst. And right there in class, I used it on a real client project, a property management company looking to digitize their entire operation (Our case study for this cohort).

In minutes, the AI helped map out the full BACCM canvas for that client. It asked the right questions. It identified stakeholders. It surfaced gaps. It even suggested elicitation questions to prepare for the next client meeting.

But here is the part that matters most.

I did not just hand my students the AI and say ‘go’.

Here is exactly how we do it:

Step 1: We teach the fundamentals.

Before any AI is introduced, our students learn the core principles and frameworks of Business Analysis the right way. This is non-negotiable. No shortcut. No skipping ahead. You must understand the foundation before any tool can be useful to you.

Step 2: Students do the work manually.

Every module comes with assignments that students complete on their own first, by hand, by thinking, by applying what they have been taught. This is where real understanding is built. We review and give detailed feedback on every submission so students know exactly where they stand.

Step 3: Then we show them how AI can supercharge the process.

Only after students have done the work themselves do we introduce the AI assistant for that module. Now they can see exactly what AI gets right, what it misses, and how to guide it effectively. Because if you do not understand the principles, you cannot sense check what AI gives you. And an AI that goes unchecked is dangerous, I have seen it cost people their careers.

This is how we plan to run every single module in this program.

And the best part?

These AI assistants work on ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, Claude, whatever tool you have access to at work.

You are not locked into one platform. You take them with you wherever you go.

Our students are not just learning Business Analysis, they are learning how to do Business Analysis the way it will be practiced in the future.
