The end of the year is upon us, waking in the dark, my morning sea swim getting icy and the sunrise getting later. Every day when I leave the beach, I get the cold fresh feel mixed with cosy warm inside the car, and it feels like Christmas already. I think this year is so important to try to bring an extra bit of joy and make an extra effort. So I propose, every cellist make it their mission to give your family or friends or even your dog, a wee concert. Practice a short set of Christmassy and easy tunes, get them sounding warm and comforting, and give your people something special.
