Hello! I hope you're well. I haven't stopped by on a Thursday for a while but wanted to give you a small taste of Luca. You might remember Luca and Penelope from Special Delivery. Penelope also makes an appearance in every Kindlewood Coffee Klatch book. She's shy, soft-spoken, and big-hearted. She and Luca have worked together at Ribbons & Bows for two years, but now Luca's leaving to join the Home Wreckers. Will this be then end of them or the beginning of something beautiful?
Luca is a standalone read, but it is helpful if you know all of the Home Wreckers Construction characters. Several previous characters show up in this book, including River, Penelope's uncle. You'll get a peek at the Harrison & Sons crew and Jake Harrison from Labor of Love. You'll also get an introduction to two new Home Wreckers.

Penelope tootles around the shop, dusting and straightening, keeping everything tidy and in its place. The mere sight of her brightens my spirits. She’s the ray of sunshine my life lacks. The one person who brings life to my beating heart. If I could wrap her in a bow and tuck her into my pocket, I’d take her with me. But I can’t sully someone as gentle and kind as Penelope with my problems.
She hums a lilting tune, ever cheerful. I catch glimpses of her between displays. She flits around weightless as a feather, gliding on her toes with a pert wiggle in her hips. Her tight leggings showcase her womanly curves and round ass. She’s built for babies and motherhood with wide hips, ample breasts, and a patient disposition.
Her dark hair twines into a tidy bun atop her head, accentuating her long graceful neck. I’m sure her flawless skin has never been marred with whisker burns or love bites. The thought of another man nuzzling against her pristine neck makes my blood boil. I want that privilege for myself, to ruin her and make her mine. But now isn’t the time for wistful desires, nor would it be fair to saddle her with the weight I carry.
