Hi, from Nebraska, USA. Yesterday we had sun and highs in the lower 60s. Today mid-40s, with clouds and a mix of rain and sleet. Despite the fickle weather, I'm getting words to paper and arranging them into the sweetest, steamiest story for the next installment of the Home Wreckers Construction series.

Before I began writing and publishing romance, I spent many a sunny day outdoors on my driveway cutting and sanding wood for art projects. I had a little space in a shop that caters to local artisans. I love all things art, especially things to do with paper, paint, and wood. I find handcrafting pieces therapeutic and relaxing. The image below is a photo of one of my watercolor paintings in a salvaged frame.

Why do I mention handcrafted art? Because I've woven a bit of my love for art into my next book.

You'll remember Penelope from the Kindlewood Coffee Klatch series. She and Luca were also briefly mentioned in Special Delivery at the Ribbons & Bows shop owned by Erin Hayes. Ribbons & Bows specializes in curated handmade items from artisans all over the world. Penelope dabbles in artwork, but she's a bit shy to release it to the world. But her art reflects something bigger than mere art. It reflects something personal inside her that the story will reveal.
