The world has changed dramatically in the past month. Trump keeps coming up with surprising policies. We all feel the impact and are struggling to reduce disruptions.

From my I-Ching reading, the tariff war concerns trust. Honest communication and mutual trust are the keys. When we lose trust, we lose friends, and problems will arise.

As for the US-China trade war, I-Ching reveals the art of managing relationships (#31 Responding). This is like an odd couple from two different backgrounds. Responding appropriately will take more sensitivity and respect, leading to long-term happiness. Rushing or being insensitive can ruin the relationship.

I-Ching's advice at this stage is to listen to the public's opinion and have their best interest at heart instead of being too egoistic or hostile.
