Quick reminder to submit your W8BEN form! Thank you for being a client of the Truffle Portfolio.

By now you would have received an email from Phillip Securities to submit your W-8BEN form.

The W-8BEN form is required by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as your account in Truffle Portfolio is investing in US holdings.

The submission deadline is 31st Dec 2023.

Please submit this by the deadline otherwise it will affect your US holdings.

How to submit W-8BEN form?

1. Download and fill in the form from https://www.poems.com.sg/faq/general/online-forms/w8ben-form-pdf/
2. Send scanned copy of the duly completed form to w8ben@phillip.com.sg from your registered email address as per our records
3. Each of the joint account holders are to submit their own scanned copies of the W-8ben form from their respective email address on the same day.

If you are unable to submit electronically, you can mail in a physical copy (but this is highly discouraged as it will take longer to be approved)

Physical submission

Trading account number to be written on the top right hand corner of the W-8 Form.

Original form is to be filled up in blue ink and sent in together with a copy of your NRIC/Passport to:
