A word about my new (fantasy romance!) series
Hey, Street Team!
This fall I'm starting a new fantasy series. This has been a blast to get started (see my author news section at the bottom of the email for details) but I felt like there were still a few loose threads to wrap up with Madcaps before I moved over entirely.
These threads tied together very neatly in a single short story, which you can get for free at the links below.
Spoiler warning: This short story really concludes a lot of the story and therefore has spoilers about almost everything. Don't read it unless you've finished the other three books in the series first!
This short story is a sequel to Sierra Storm's Madcaps series, a fantasy comedy series about a nostalgic cartoon show brought to life in unexpected ways and all of the repercussions that come with it.
After Red-Handed Rob and Cody the Kid get their wish, they land an interview on the High Strangeness Program. Meanwhile, Max Moon and Mary Maxwell make plans beyond the show, leaving the world around them in a state of general confusion.

Unbeknownst to her, the quaint bookshop carries more than just shelves of stories-it harbors inherited mysteries and a touch of magical mayhem.

Author News
I mentioned earlier that my new project is a fantasy romance series, which I haven't attempted since the Midnight Valley Saga years ago but which is, by now, highly overdue. Well, it's starting soon, and there's a twist: it's an alternate-history steampunk series set in the 1920s. It's set on a floating island in the aftermath of the Great War and peppered with airships, clockwork, and mages with unpredictable abilities--all peppered with the glitz and drama that came in that decade.
As always, I'll tell you more about it as the first book gets closer to release. I've been obsessing over it all summer, and from the way it's pulling together, I think it's going to be a lot of fun.
Ciao!
