As promised, I'm excited to share my big pre-Christmas update with you: Afterlife is now available for purchase!
Bunny’s mother is getting remarried, and this means a number of changes in Bunny’s life:
1. Bunny finds herself playing Maid of Honor in a wedding for a family she can hardly recognize as her own.
2. Bunny’s incoming stepfather is an archaeologist who might know much more about Twin Oaks than he is letting on.
3. A sudden shift forms between the living and the dead… and Bunny struggles to keep up with her duties with the ring amidst her distractions.
When Bunny loses the ring after entrusting it to one of the ghosts, she finds herself unarmed against what could be an endless hoard of restless spirits. Only the unlikeliest of allies can help her succeed.

Afterlife is the final book in the Ghost Ring series, and closing off a series is always an emotionally mismatched time.
What I'll miss: the ghosts, Bunny's on-off relationship with Ralph Seville, and the Ghost Hunting Club's antics in the background.
But there's also a lot to look forward to. I'm excited about having more time to spend on my other in-progress series and have space for the occasional fantasy one-off (stay tuned for more news on that front!).
In the meantime, I've been trimming the tree and baking cookies and preparing to spend the last week of the year out of state visiting relatives. This means that I haven't had as much time for writing and lately have considered myself in a state of semi-hiatus until things calm down.
My January plans involve getting a start on the second part of the Medusa vs. Life trilogy. I have a solid plan in mind for the book and am looking forward to getting it on paper, so be on the lookout for more news as it happens.
