Hi ,
I hope you've started the new year with plenty of energy and enthusiasm despite the continued challenging circumstances!
Our first new batch of resources of the new year is here...
First up, we have an exciting new Journey resource. Last month, we took students on a contextual journey through the Pandemic. This month, we place them into the heart of an Earthquake disaster scene and challenge them to apply their knowledge and skills to the emergency response and rebuilding effort!
Next, we have an Issues resource exploring Mental Health & Well-Being through contextual challenges relating to a wide variety of careers. This resource, which includes challenges on how to look after your own and your friend's mental health, is perfect for the current climate where so many young people are struggling.
We've listened to feedback on our Careers resources and have started to add some more manual and foundation-level careers. So new this month are Gardener and Cleaner as well as Estate Agent, Veterinary Surgeon and Paramedic. We'll keep ensuring there's as wide a range of careers covered as possible in the coming months.
Our Sector in focus this month explores the careers within the Retail & Customer Services sector - with challenges covering everything from Store Manager to Jeweller, or Florist to Antiques Dealer!
Finally, we've uploaded the first batch of Topics resources covering the Key Stage 3 Chemistry curriculum. Chemistry has more topics than the other subjects so we'll fully complete that subject next month.
As usual, you'll find the new resources in your Gumroad Library. Or just click the link in the receipt email you received when you subscribed. Any access issues, just let me know.
We have exciting plans for 2021 to keep expanding the Resource Bank in a variety of ways. Our immediate focus is to add more digital games to the collection - so I'm hoping to have an update for you on that front very soon!
As always, please do let me know if you have any feedback on any of the games or resources :)
Kindest regards,
Jon and the Panjango Team
