Grow Your Small Business Even with "Recession" Budget Cuts

Jasmine here,
After watching all the layoffs in big tech and seeing clients pull back on their marketing spend, I wanted to shoot you a note to let you know there are still ways to win, whether you're a one person company or have a team.
Right now is the time to lean into organic content--instead of paid ads especially if you haven't been successful already with them--and leverage high traffic generators like TikTok, Instagram/FB Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Each of these are performing excellently for introducing your company to new audiences so if you've been hesitant to try one or all of these, look into getting started.
NOTE: If you're on TikTok, be sure to also post your 60-second or less videos to YouTube Shorts. It's really a game-changer, especially if you're not ready for long-form YouTube videos.
In order to be successful, you will need to leaning into consistently producing videos, generating sounds (or use trending sounds), and making carousels, and then incentivizing your teams to share as well. Content marketing is a long-game, so it should sit along with sales calls and email marketing efforts to help you see revenue fast.
Don't skip building a strategy for your content, making sure you have a standard for how the visuals will look so your branding is consistent, and using a project management tool to keep you organized and on schedule. There are a lot of ways to get things done, but definitely focus on this strategy for the next few months to keep things simple and gain traction.
If you need help, write me back or book some time here. I love talking about this and I really want you to win.
Best,
