Cindy Monkhouse-Buczek, BeefDip Week Host and Founder’s Sister, Dies at Age 60
Cindy Monkhouse-Buczek, sister of BeefDip Week founder Steve Buczek, passed away on July 31, 2023 after a sudden onset of spinal meningitis.
Cindy was a familiar face to BeefDip Week attendees, acting as a host with a warm welcoming smile at the registration table to her fun and infectious laugh.

A gay mixer was held on July 19, 2023 at Chachacala Bar with more than 125 people attending.
Sponsored by O&APV and the Facebook group "Puerto Vallarta Gays: Everything Gay You Need or Want to Know", a huge crowd came together at the mixer for lots of networking and snacks provided by the bar.
