The big industry news is RootsTech 2022 will be a virtual-only event. RootsTech 2021 was virtual due to the Covid-19 pandemic and it was so successful (1.1 million visitors from more than 240 countries) they are planning another all-virtual event for RootsTech 2022. There won't be a RootsTech London this fall.

RootsTech SLC will be March 3-5, 2022 and then for 2023 and beyond, they're planning to follow a hybrid, virtual & in-person model.

You can still access RootsTech 2021 sessions, the Expo Hall with vendors, and the Innovators Portal (hidden under the main menu so I think most people missed it). And you can create a Playlist of classes you'd like to watch and then come back later when you have more time. (You'll need to be signed in with a free FamilySearch account to use the My Playlist feature.)

Some classes/sessions have been removed but there are still plenty of great courses and short 3-5 minute Tips and Tricks videos. You can also Search by language to view what's offered in a specific language.

One 3 minute Tips or Tricks session I enjoyed was Capturing Family Sayings by Brenda Hudson. It was a good reminder of memories that are worth recording.
