Still can't travel?

Get out of your locale for FREE by visiting: https://radio.garden/

You'll see a world map and can select a radio station from anywhere in the world and listen in the comfort of your home. Brush up on your language skills by choosing a station in a country where you'd like to escape.

Here's a long, but GREAT article from the New Yorker, How To Practice by Ann Patchett, on dejunking before we die. “I wonder if we could just pretend to move,” I said to Karl that night over dinner. “Would that be possible? Go through everything we own and then stay where we are?”

If you have family from Queensland, Australia, check out Judy Webster's blog: https://qld-genealogy.blogspot.com/2021/03/beenleigh-war-memorial-project-revised.html about an updated list of men and women from the greater Beenleigh area who had served in WWI. Their stories are available on a CD.

And if you're based in the US, Stories Behind the Stars is non-profit initiative to write the stories of all the US WWII fallen soldiers. You can visit their site to see what they've accomplished so far and they'd love volunteers to help with research and writing.
