Theme: You Call That A Love Song?

Join us this Friday as we listen to and compare traditional vs. non-traditional love songs. We'll analyze the musical components that make traditional love songs, and expand our horizons on how some musicians have stretched those love song limits. You'll become a better "active listener" which in turn will help you become a better musician.

Free for all students, family and friends. Invite any & all to come and have a fun night listening to music and contributing to the conversation.

Want to become a better musician? You've got to become a better listener. As teachers at On Chord Academy we know this fact, which is why we created "Listening Party" music workshops.

We pick a theme each month, and listen to music as a group. We analyze the songs, discuss what we like and don't like, share opinions, and dive MUCH deeper than just listening to lyrics.

So if you want to become a better musician then you need to learn how to develop your ears. Attending our listening party workshops will help you appreciate music at a much deeper level, and will help you become a better musician by teaching you to hear everything happening in a song.

This workshop is free and we encourage family and friends to join!
