You've probably seen the posters up around the school, but let us remind you about the open mic happening tonight, Friday, January 31st. (BTW these open mics will be happening the last Friday of EVERY month at On Chord Academy going forward.)

Open mics are a great opportunity to get on stage and play old songs you've learned in the past, or new songs you're working on. They're much more casual than a student performance or recital.

The room will be a mix of other music students, teachers or musicians in our community who want to get on stage and share their music. This is a great opportunity to be inspired by other musicians, or to do some inspiring yourself!

It can also be a great way to get feedback about what you're working on, or to provide feedback to other musicians who ask for feedback... and it's a great way to meet and get to know other musicians in your community.
