{{contact.first_name}} Be Bold, Be Crazy, be anything but Regular

Hi ,

If you don’t live in Lagos, you truly don’t know what the Lord has done for you.

Because this heat?

It is on another level entirely.

Bruh!

Anyways, it’s been 11 days since our last conversation, so in case you missed my initial New Year greetings:

Happy New Year, Champ!

I hope the first few days of 2026 have been kind to you.

The other day, I was re-watching a video montage from one of my favorite shows, "Creatorium" by Salem and Adaeze. In that montage, amazing people like Pelumi Nubi, Tunde Onakoya, and M.I. Abaga were all sharing some incredible gems.

Two specific quotes really stuck with me and I wanted to share them with you:

  1. Pelumi Nubi: "If you’ve never been called crazy, you’ve most likely not lived."
  2. Tunde Onakoya: "When you want something and really want to achieve a goal, the universe has no choice but to listen."

, to be very honest, that is the best encouragement I can give you today.

We often play it safe because we’re afraid of what people will think, but mediocrity is rarely "called crazy." If your goals for this year don't feel a little bit delusional to the average person, you might not be dreaming big enough.

Know this: With God by your side and a relentless spirit, there is no reason you won't attain your dreams—

provided you put the structures and systems in place to support that growth.

For me, my "crazy" is in planning a much bigger, more impactful version of

The Creatives Discuss for this year.

We’ve already begun making plans, and boy oh boy,

I’m genuinely scared and excited at the same time. The vision is massive, but I’m trusting the process.

I’ll be sure to update you with more gist as we progress.

P.S. In my last email, I mentioned that we’d love to move this community onto WhatsApp as well. The goal is to foster real-time relationships and collaborations within the community.

Don't just be a spectator; come and connect with other brilliant minds.
