“A moving man would surely meet his luck.”
Arguably, this is the best piece of advice being talked about in 2026.
It’s a phrase so simple, yet so deep that it will probably be the defining philosophy for creatives for the next two or three years—perhaps even longer.
It perfectly depicts exactly how life works, even when we try to overcomplicate it.
You see, as humans, we all have dreams, visions, or big ideas tucked away in our hearts.
We spend a lot of time looking forward to the day we finally achieve them.
But there is a reality we often ignore:
the difference between where you are currently and where you want to be lies in a Gap.
Sometimes that gap is massive; sometimes it’s small, depending on what I call your
Unfair Advantage.
(remind me to talk to you more about that later)
The key to closing that gap isn't a giant leap or a "lucky break" from the sky.
It’s the philosophy of
Kaizen—the art of getting 1% better every single day.
Continually putting in effort, no matter how small it may seem, ensures that one day you will inevitably “meet your luck.”
Moving isn't just about physical action; it’s about curating your experiences, continuously learning, networking, and—most importantly—not being afraid of making mistakes.
It’s about being "in the room" when the door finally opens.
Let me take you back to January 2025.
I announced that I wanted to host the first-ever physical edition of The Creatives Discuss.
I wanted to move it from a virtual Twitter Space series to something bigger, better, and more tangible.
When I made that announcement, if I’m being honest, I had no idea how it was going to be possible.
But I moved regardless.
I started asking questions of anyone who had even a little experience in event execution.
I formed a team with my friends who bought into the vision.
I carried out surveys, asking people to share their greatest concerns as creatives, and I used that raw data to curate the topics we would eventually discuss.
I was getting 1% better every day, even though I was still figuring it out as I went.
And then, the Luck came in.
Out of nowhere, I got a message from TheCreativerse about sponsoring the event. Then other brands—Xara, Jaytech, and Rubiescreatives—came on board too. Before the year ran out, we had our very first physical conference.
Every time I think about that quote now, it brings back those fresh memories of what happens when you just refuse to stand still.
This year, I’ve shared another dream: a conference for creatives with a thousand attendees.
And just like last year, I’m figuring it out as I go.
I’m laying the groundwork, partnering with people who have helped bring such visions to life before, and staying in motion.
Perhaps these words don't immediately inspire you to believe in the concept of Kaizen or the “moving man” philosophy.
But maybe—just maybe—watching me actualise this dream of bringing 1,000 creatives together will be the spark you need to move.
We are growing a community of the next generation of creatives, and I want you to be a part of it.

I’m also wide open to partnerships and collaborations.
If you want to help bring this vision to life and prove, once again, that a moving man always meets his luck—let’s talk.
With love and a whole lot of motion,
Tésò
