It feels so good to be writing to you again.

I Honestly did miss you, even when I know that I barely crossed your mind.

Today, as Nigeria celebrates her 65th Independence Day which is a day of resilience, hope, and new beginnings.

I’m reminded of the strength and unity within our own community.

I thought to myself

"This feels like the perfect moment to reconnect, share a personal journey, and look ahead to the exciting things we’re building together"

A Journey Through Trials and Triumphs

The past few weeks have been some of the toughest of my life. I fell seriously ill and was diagnosed with both malaria and typhoid.

There were moments I found myself slipping in and out of consciousness — moments where everything felt uncertain.

Yet in that storm, I discovered gratitude: for life, for God’s mercy, and for the thought of this community that keeps me anchored.

But even in the middle of the battle, light broke through: I am partially, finally, a graduate! 🎓 (whatever that means lol)

All that’s left is the publishing of my project, and then the journey will be complete. This milestone feels even sweeter knowing I get to share it with you — a community that has grown with me through different seasons.

In my weakest moments, kindness meant the world. I want to give a heartfelt shout-out to Priscilla, whose check-ins reminded me that community is more than just conversations — it’s care, it’s presence, it’s love in action.
