THE ANATOMY OF LEGACY

Feb 23, 2026 6:01 am

Hello Family,

Many people think a "legacy" is something that happens after you die. They think it is a building with your name on it or money left in a bank account. But I have learned that legacy is not what you leave for people; it is what you leave in people.

A legacy is built every single day through your actions, your kindness, and your commitment to a cause bigger than yourself.

A Story from My Journey

When I founded the Pdac Foundation, I wasn't just thinking about the programs we would run this year. I was thinking about the African child 50 years from now.

I remember talking to a young girl in one of our rural outreach sessions. She had no books, but she had a massive dream to be a doctor. I realized then that if I just gave her a textbook, I helped her for a term. But if I helped her believe that her background doesn't limit her future, I gave her something she could pass on to her own children.

That is the anatomy of a legacy. It is a chain reaction of hope. My goal as an author and coach isn't just to be remembered—it’s to make sure the values of growth and excellence live on in every person I touch.

This Week’s Challenge

Think about the people you interact with this week—your children, your staff, or your neighbors. What is one positive "seed" you can plant in their hearts today that will grow long after you are gone?

Keep growing,
