I write, therefore I am.

I wish I had a lot to say this month, but I don't. Honestly, I'm just plain ole tired, but new stories are developing and I have some ideas that you guys are simply going to love.

Yes, Helen returns this November. Yes, she and Mustang are figuring some things out, but so is she about who this Helen woman is, because Shenita is no more. To do her, and the journey into becoming a Technician justice, we are going to develop her skills as we figure out what will happen between she and The Mustang.

Yes, Micah returns next year. I met a graphic artist over the weekend who may be able to actually create what I see in my head for the tattoos.

Yes, the Delgados will be back with cameos from Saxton and Odessa.

Next year, another Mail Order bride, but with a fun, sexy twist, then we move potentially out West or deeper South. I have to come back to LeBeau in New Orleans.

I do have an idea for another Summer series that has been cooking for the past seven years, and now, I finally know how to write it. Or at least, my writing has improved enough for me to do the characters justice.

I thinking.

I'm planning.

I'm resting.

I am also starting to write again.

Greek Tortellini Salad

Ingredients

• 1 Pre-made Cheese Tortellini 19oz
• 1 cup cucumber, quartered and sliced
• 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, sliced
• 1⁄2 cup red onion, sliced
• 1⁄2 cup pitted Kalamata olives, sliced
• 1⁄2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
• 2 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
• 1⁄2 cup prepared Greek dressing

Directions

• Step 1
• Prepare tortellini according to package. Drain and rinse with cold water. Place in a large bowl.
• Step 2
• Add cucumber, tomatoes, onion, olives, feta and parsley. Toss until combined, then drizzle with dressing. Toss until coated.
• Step 3
• Serve and refrigerate leftovers.
