The headline or subject line I had in mind for this mail was "How to make good use of this strike period"
But, I'm not certain you would have opened this mail.
Anyway, you're here already and if you decide to take Seyi Advice this morning, you will soon be getting extra cash according to this mail's subject line
One more thing...
, this mail is NOT ONLY for the undergraduates who are battling with the strike action right now
Yea! It's not only for them. You too are welcome if after reading this mail, you find out that you need this too.
But, before I give you the full gist,
See what Seyi Odebode (One of the most respected University of Benin Students who is a multiple award winning speaker and a public speaking coach. He has trained over 87 young individuals on public speaking and taught over 1200 participants in his free classes.) wrote as a thread on twitter 5 days ago
=========================
Dear Nigerian University Undergraduate,
The best time to learn a skill was during the lockdown in 2020.
The next best time is during this one month warning strike break.
Don't waste this opportunity. Skill up.
Identify something profitable you are passionate about or go check out in-demand skills for the future of work, and learn.
Usually, from your home/hostel, you can learn these skills. Sometimes for free.
Concentrate your focus and bury your head in your learning.
True, one month won't make you a pro.
But you're a sure bet, better than who you used to be.
You've set the ball rolling and can leverage on this profitably.
Practice! Practice! Practice.
School will resume. FG & ASUU will 'meet terms', again. And you will be back to your classroom.
If you heed my words, you'd have been equipped with at least a skill, profitably armed for the future you want to create.
The life you want to live.
=================================
● Do I need to add anything to this?
● Do I need to explain to you that as an undergraduate, Getting a degree is good (at least I have mine)
But its not and never going to be enough.. (But you should go to school and graduate, it has it own advantages too.)
● Do I need to explain to you that when you come before the table of great men, you should have what is truly needed and useful?
Well
For this SINGLE Reason, I have decided to put up something together for YOU.
Truth is,
If you waste this strike period at home without learning a skill (if you don't have one already)
It only shows 2 things:
1. You don't love yourself and
2. You don't care about what your future holds.
Now,
There are several skills you can decide to start learning this period
- Copywriting
- Graphic Design
- Email Marketing
- Facebook ads
- Video Creation
- Content writing and the likes
You can learn all these from the comfort of your room or you might have learn any, but...
You MUST learn Copywriting too so you can sell these other skills very well (That's why Copywriting is the mother of all skills)
Now,
Copywriting is what I want to teach you almost for FREE.
Copywriting as a skill, has made me money more than my certificate (Let's not go there). Its simply knowing to use the written words to make people take action
Well, it's not for those that loves writing or people that had A1 in English.
I've packaged so many things together
Go ahead and tap this blue link to see all you will be learning.
Also,
If I decide to teach you for FREE, you're likely not going to value it.
But, don't worry
I'm not going to charge you even if what you will be learning should go for nothing less than 5,000 naira.
Because
I'm sure you're itching to hear about how the price For this training should be N5,000 or MORE
Guess what? I might have to disappoint you there.
For one major reason,
Except you have Rich uncles and wealthy parents
Like of an undergraduate is not easy, from materials to bills to.... just name them.
That's why I closed my eyes to do this for a fee of N1,000 that can't buy you shawarma.
See it as an investment that would yield returns very soon.
Tap this blue link to see what you will be learning and the FREE BONUSES attached.
Yes! Just with a ridiculous FEE OF N1,000.
Hey!
You too can Kick-Start Your Copywriting Journey the way I started mine in July 2020
And
From that time till date, I'm still happy I took that decision.
The decision is yours right now.
I'm an undergraduate is NOT an excuse for you not to be needed and useful in the table of great men...
One more thing,
Even if you're not an undergraduate, you can steal this opportunity too.Tap this blue link
