You know I have a Copywriting Training for newbies that is on going which will come to an end this Sunday before next batch will be kick off
But,
Before yesterday's teaching, I got a question from one of my participants named Esther Useneko
Here is the question
"Please ma, I want to ask / know from your teaching so far.....
If I practice what I had learnt here and carry out my own research too within 3 months to 6 months can I call myself a copywriter?
Or I still need to go or get more mastery class?"
, I Smiled because I truly loved the question
Well,
In a few minutes, I will be giving you same answer I gave her in class
But first,
By now, You should know that taking masterclasses every time is not what will make you a master in your field.
Whether you are into Copywriting or any other skill.
It is what you do after taking such courses that will soon make you a master.
So,
Back to the answer I gave her.
I told her I love her choice of words which were
"If I practice and in 3 months to 6 months of not just folding hands day and night but digging my head into research all to become better"
see, You must not necessary be one year into Copywriting before you call yourself a Copywriter
However,
The productive activities you carry out DAILY towards becoming better is what matters
If you Sincerely put your all and you are now experiencing at least little results from your copy
Why can't you call yourself a Copywriter?
I for example have only taken two courses on COPYWRITING - 5,000 and 40,000 respectively
But you see,
In my first 30 to 60 days into Copywriting, only 5% of Nigerian Copywriters must have studied the way I did...
Well,
Let me not go into all of that today.
