Vote for your 2025 Board!

Hello ,

It's that time again! Please vote for your executive board and officers for OCPhA for the year of 2025-2026 (if you have submitted your votes prior to this email, please disregard). As a reminder, we are voting on the following positions:

President-Elect

The President-Elect shall assist the President as required and shall act in the absence of the President and the Immediate Past-President and shall succeed to the office of President in the event of removal, resignation or other incapacity of the President and/or the Immediate Past-President. The President-Elect, upon completion of the one-year term, shall succeed to the office of President for a one (1) year term and shall serve from March 1 to last day of February of the following year.

Secretary

It shall be the duty of the Secretary to maintain all non-financial files, records of the Association. Secretary shall be elected for a two (2) year term to run from March 1 to the last day of February two years hence.

Recording Secretary

The Recording Secretary shall maintain the minutes of board meetings, including taking all notes per each section of the meeting agenda, and track and share minutes to both board and membership. The Recording Secretary shall be elected for a one (1) year term to run from March 1 to the last day of February two years hence.

Board Member

The Board of Directors shall exercise the legislative and policy making powers on behalf of the membership when the Association is not in a business session. It shall have final authority regarding the disciplining of members and shall maintain active liaison with the California Pharmacists Association. Each Board Member shall be elected for a two (2) year term to run from March 1 to the last day of February two years hence. The expectation is a minimum of 60% attendance (live, computer, or phone) at all Board/general meetings. The expectation is attendance at all OCPhA social events unless there is an unresolvable conflict.
