Hello ,
Drs. Jennifer Ko and Marc Fleming from Chapman University School of Pharmacy are conducting a research study to determine the level of medical Spanish proficiency among ambulatory care pharmacists in California, as well as the relevance and need for such training. If you are an ambulatory care pharmacist in California, we invite you to participate in this survey.
Being in this study is optional, but if you choose to be in the study, you will complete a survey that will take about 15 minutes to complete. This study is confidential and anonymous. You can skip questions that you do not want to answer or stop the survey at any time.
If you participate, your name will be entered in a drawing to receive a $50 gift card. It is not necessary to complete the survey in order to participate in the drawing. The odds of winning the drawing are 7.5%, however the exact odds will depend on the number of participants. Your email address will only be used for the drawing and will not be connected to your survey responses. You may also voluntarily provide your email if you would like to receive further information about medical Spanish training.
As in any data collection, there is risk of breach of confidentiality, but we make every effort to keep your study data confidential and not share your personal information with anyone outside the research team.
We would appreciate your response by 12/30/25. If you have any questions, please contact the study investigators Jennifer Ko ([email protected]) or Marc Fleming ([email protected]).
This study has been approved by the Chapman University Institutional Review Board (IRB #26-14). If you have questions or concerns about your rights as a research participant, call the Chapman University Institutional Review Board at (714) 628-2833 or [email protected].
