We’re excited to reintroduce and reimagine the Membership Committee—with a fresh focus on engagement! As we continue to grow and strengthen our organization, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join and help lead this committee as either a committee member or chair/co-chair!
This newly envisioned committee will play a key role in connecting our members, amplifying OCPhA’s presence, and supporting collaboration across all branches of the organization. All pharmacists, technicians, and student pharmacists are welcome to join!
Examples of tasks include:
- Facilitate OCPhA Info Sessions/briefings during live/virtual events or school/industry events and update slides/flyers of general OCPhA information and upcoming events
- Coordinate OCPhA Practitioner of the Year award nominations
- Relay updates between OCPhA and student chapter liaisons including honor cord information, conference/event sponsorships, and membership coverage provided by OCPhA
- Communicate pharmacist-specific benefits and perks (e.g., reimbursement updates)
- Support member engagement through incentives (e.g., raffles, scholarships, giveaways)
- Collaborate with other OCPhA committees to increase attendance and participation (Social, Legislative, Mentorship, etc.)
