We are currently soliciting nominations for our OCPhA executive position of President-Elect, whose term will continue from this year until March 2026. This role supports the President and helps ensure continuity and growth within our board and would be transitioned into the president role in the following term. If you are looking for an opportunity to get involved or know someone who would like to get more involved, then please submit your nominations via email below by Friday, August 22nd, 2025.
Board Member Position for Nominations:
President-Elect (1 vacancy available)
The President-Elect shall assist the President as required and shall act in the absence of the President and the Immediate Past-President and shall succeed to the office of President in the event of removal, resignation or other incapacity of the President and/or the Immediate Past-President. The President-Elect, upon completion of the one-year term, shall succeed to the office of President for a one (1) year term and shall serve from March 1 to last day of February of the following year.
We would like to also thank Dr. Sharon Xavioer, who will be departing from her role as President-Elect by next year due to upcoming personal and professional transitions. She has made significant contributions to OCPhA, and we sincerely thank her for her dedication, continued support and service to the board especially through the remainder of the term into 2026!
