I couldn't say no and here's why you shouldn't either

, a few years back, I took my son to the EKKA.

EKKA, David - What's that?

For those readers outside of Australia, it's our local show where the country comes to the city.

Think "Fair" on a large scale. Lots of fun. Animals. Rides. Kids love it.

Well, sort of.

This particular year my son says "I want to go on that ride!", pointing to the train like roller coaster.

Sure - why not, we'll do it together.

A few turns into it- he's trying to climb out of his seat. Red in the face. Eyes as big as saucer plates.

"I wanna get OFF!" he yells.

Yep, the ride didn't work out as well as he'd hoped.

Gosh, do you feel like that sometimes?

You know, wanna get off the ride?

Who doesn't right now.

COVID has had a big impact on families and communities.

I must admit, in Brisbane, we've been very lucky.

Especially compared to our friends and families in Melbourne and around the world.

That's why I jumped at the opportunity when Tanya called me....

She said "Dave, I want to help people who are helping people.

Living in Melbourne, I am seeing our care workforce sooo burnt out, they're craving time out. So I decided to do something about it"

Tanya and Vikki have created a FREE 9 Day Online "Vitality" Festival Event with 70 World Experts - starting on Halloween. ( Plus Recordings) and knew you'd probably like it.

You see, this event is for

  • Frontline workers
  • People who feel super stretched from their COVID experience
  • Carers
  • Workers who have felt like "I am over the push to do more work"

They have a big goal- To reach 10,000 people.

Instead of adding to the negativity, pain, confusion and fear that is being hammered into us on the daily news, Tanya and Vikki have asked themselves,

“What is it we can do to empower, inspire and help frontline workers, burnt-out employees and carers and families at the edge?”

No doubt about it, I love working with people who take action.

And Tanya and Vikki are really committed to helping others.

And they asked lil ol me - I am feeling very excited!! 🎉

I’m blessed to participate in the online VITAlity Festival™, surrounded by amazing professionals who lift people up and inspire them to embrace self-care, health and wellness.

So are you in, interested???
