Travel eSIMs: What, how and why 📱

Kia ora ,
Nathan and I have just arrived in Costa Rica (via LAX) for three weeks of fun in the sun... animals, tubing, rafting and much more.
We're really excited to be here!
Though I won't be in NZTT as much as normal, it's obviously important that I'm still easily accessible (and I can't stay away from you all for too long), so I'm using an Airalo eSIM for our trip.
I loaded it up this morning, recording the process in real-time for you all. If you watch the video, you'll see just how easy it is to load - it's amazing!
You'll use your Airalo eSIM for data, and will then have the choice to keep your home number active (for calls/texts), or to stick to data-only (in which case, just use Whatsapp and/or Facebook for your phone calls).
You can prepurchase your data packs and you can even load them up while you're still at home!
That way, as soon as you step off the plane, you'll have affordable data in your new destination.
What's more, we have an 18% discount on all Airalo packs, making your international data more affordable than ever... as yes, this discount works whatever the destination you're travelling to (and it can be used on multiple occasions).
Thanks to Airalo for providing this discount to our members, and for kindly gifting us this data pack for me to report back on.
PS: If you'd like to follow along, I'll be posting Facebook stories to my personal account and will share more information in the Global Travel Tips Group - please follow both. We'd love your support ❤️
Until next time, Pura Vida!
