🔋 How To Become Limitless In Real Life
Mar 23, 2024 3:35 pm
Hey ,
Have you seen the movie "Limitless,” starring Bradley Cooper?
Chances are, you have probably seen it or at least heard of it.
But if you haven’t...
I’ll break it down for you without spoiling the entire movie.
Based on the novel “The Dark Fields” by Alan Glynn, the movie stars Bradley Cooper as a struggling writer in New York City.
He’s close to being evicted and struggling with writer’s block.
His publisher is at his throat to meet his deadline.
His girlfriend breaks up with him because he lacks ambition, motivation and focus.
But everything changes when he’s introduced to a drug called NZT-48.
A pill that gives him access to 100% of his mind.
This one pill not only helps dominate his writer’s block, but it also helps him dominate every aspect of his life!
The movie then takes us on a journey, showing his new heights of intelligence, creativity and massive success overall in a very short period of time.
While the drug is sadly fictional, there are real-life ways to tap into your inner genius.
So today, I’m going to share with you some practical steps to help you emulate the spirit of limitless success in your own life.
Without further ado, here they are:
1. Reduce Your Screen Time
Have you ever opened your social media apps to answer a DM but found yourself doom scrolling after?
It’s almost like your rational brain shuts off and your lizard brain takes over.
On some level, you’re aware that what you’re doing is killing your progress, but yet you can’t seem to snap yourself out of it.
Social media is sometimes the quicksand for productivity.
So try to catch yourself when you slip into this cycle.
It’s easier said than done, but the best way to get started is by setting time limits on your apps.
You can find this feature in your settings.
2. Don’t Let The Fear Of Striking Out Keep You From Playing The Game
Everything difficult you want to achieve in life is outside your comfort zone.
Rejection is often inevitable, you will strike out.
But remember, each obstacle on your path is a chance to level up, get wiser and become more resilient!
See every challenge in your life as an opportunity for growth.
Failure is a natural part of the learning process.
3. Learn continuously
A lot of people think they don’t have to learn anything after leaving the education system.
But this is wrong.
Whether it’s through books, online courses, workshops or hands on experience, commit to lifelong learning.
Remember, the acquisition and application of new useful knowledge is the key that unlocks the doors to endless possibilities.
4. Optimise Your Body
It’s easy to get consumed with self improvement.
Oftentimes, we feel overwhelmed by everything we want to get done and forget to take care of ourselves.
We forgo our mental and physical health.
But things like regular exercise, adequate sleep (7-9 hours per night), mindfulness, like journaling, and a healthy diet will go a long way in preventing burnout.
5. Choose Your Friends Wisely
The saying is true: “You are the average of the 5 people you hang with.”
Surround yourself with like minded individuals on the same path as you.
Or seek out mentors who’ve already accomplished what you want to achieve and learn from them.
Their wisdom can save you a lot of time and energy and guide you to where you want to be.
The power to transform your life is well within your grasp.
