🙅‍♂️ You cannot succeed without understanding this!

Hey ,
So one of the most impactful books I’ve ever read is The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck.
This book had such a profound impact on me because I remember reading it when I was at one of my lowest points.
There were so many insightful points in it, but one that really stood out for me and that I had never really considered before was the part where he spoke about choosing your struggle.
Here’s how he talks about it: (I’ll be paraphrasing here.)
If you were to be asked what you wanted out of life and you said something along the lines of “I want to be rich, famous, in a happy relationship, fit, and healthy,” and so on, your answer would be so common and basic that it'd mean basically nothing.
The reason is that those are things that everyone wants.
A more interesting question—one you've unlikely considered—is, “What pain do you want in your life? What are you willing to struggle for?”
If you think about it, almost everyone wants to be rich, famous, in a happy relationship, fit, healthy, and so on.
But does everyone want to suffer through hardship to get it?
You say you want to be rich, but are you willing to lose money in the process, fail, work 12 hours a day, and so on, to get it?
You say you want to be fit and healthy, but are you willing to consistently lift weights in the gym, track what you eat daily, be in physical pain, and so on to get it?
You say you want to be in a happy relationship, but are you willing to go through the tough conversations, awkward silences, hurt feelings, and emotional psychodrama to get there?
What you want means nothing if you aren’t willing to sacrifice or struggle for it.
So next time you claim to want anything, consider the work you have to go through to attain it, because that is what matters and what will inevitably get you there.
If you’re willing to suffer, that's when you want it bad enough.

The Fine Art of Small Talk by Debra Fine
I recently finished reading the ShortForm guide to The Fine Art of Small Talk by Debra Fine, and I must say, it was very insightful.
For someone who has always struggled with social skills, I found the tools very practical and easy to act on. Here’s a sneak peek at the introduction:
“In The Fine Art of Small Talk, Debra Fine explains the benefits of mastering small talk and teaches you to confidently converse with strangers. According to Fine, the opportunity for casual conversations crops up many times each day—with neighbors, kids, and coworkers, and at social events, business lunches, and even the local supermarket.
When we avoid small talk, she explains, we minimize the number of deep conversations we get to have in these settings. Furthermore, Fine says, we risk giving the impression that we’re cold, disinterested, or rude.
In this guide, we’ll first examine what Fine considers to be a helpful mindset in learning to master small talk. Then, we’ll discuss Fine’s step-by-step guide to conversation, from opening to exit. Finally, we’ll explore Fine’s more detailed tips regarding advance preparation for conversation and conversational conduct.”
