If I could travel back to 2018, just as I was beginning my journey as a content creator, there's one crucial piece of advice I would give myself:

"People will hate you for no reason. And that is okay."

As you embark on your path to becoming a content creator, it's essential to mentally prepare yourself for negative comments from strangers who have never met you. These comments can be hurtful and discouraging at times.

However, there's one mantra I constantly remind myself of: "If it won’t bother me in five years, why let it bother me for five seconds?"

Remember, these people don't truly know you. They've only seen a brief glimpse of your life through a short video.

Recently, I shared a heartfelt story about how my dad’s small act of kindness meant a lot to me. Someone commented, “You are gay.” 🤣 This person woke up that day and chose chaos.

The point is, no matter what you do, at some point in your content creation journey, you will encounter hate.

But don’t let it deter you. As Aristotle wisely said, “There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.”

Which means if you want to succeed, you must do something, say something, and create something, because hate is inevitable.
