🕌 EID MUBARAK!!! 🎉🤲

Just before we go anywhere, I just wanted to wish my Muslim brother and sister a blessed Eid. May all our intentions and good deeds be accepted, and I hope we get to see another Ramadan.

It is my hope that this Eid will be joyful and peaceful for you and your loved ones.

🖼️ Life lesson of the week.

If you feel you aren’t living the life you want to be living right now, this is the only story you need to hear.

So a man was once walking down a path.

While he was walking, he found an eagle's egg.

So he took this egg and put it in a backyard hen's nest.

Soon, the eagle's egg hatched along with the chicks, and as it grew up, it did the same things the chickens did.

It would look for food like them and fly like them, just acting like a chicken.

Over time, that eagle got very old, and one day it looked up and saw something.

This thing flew through the clouds in a majestic way.

“What's that?” The eagle asks

“That's an eagle.” One chicken responded.

“He's the king of all birds. The master of the sky.

But we're just chickens, so we belong on the ground. Don't worry about him; you won't ever be like that.”

And so the eagle continued to live like a chicken and died as a chicken because that is all he thought he was.

The moral of this story is that it's important to know what you're really capable of and not let the standards of others hold you back.

Sometimes, we find ourselves in situations that don't show who we really are or what we can do.

But we can't let our situations define us, or we might miss out on a life full of possibilities.

So stop acting like a chicken, when you were born an eagle.

đź“– Book recommendation of the week: The Courage to be Disliked

I recently finished the book, The Courage to be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga. And I have to say , it was a beautiful book. I can’t say that enough.

What’s so cool about it is that it is written in a dialogue format, like you’re watching two people have a conversation. Amazing read.

Here are five important takeaways from the book.

  1. We have the power to change our lives: The book emphasizes that we have the power to change our lives by changing our attitudes and behaviors. We are not limited by our past experiences or circumstances.
  2. Don't be a victim: The authors argue that we often play the role of victim in our own lives, blaming others or external circumstances for our problems. Instead, we should take responsibility for our own lives and focus on what we can control.
  3. Pursue your own happiness: The book encourages readers to pursue their own happiness, rather than trying to please others or seeking approval. It emphasizes the importance of being true to yourself and your own values.
  4. Relationships are important: The book also emphasizes the importance of relationships but argues that we should focus on healthy, equal relationships rather than seeking validation from others.
  5. Live in the present: The authors argue that we should focus on the present moment, rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. By focusing on the present and taking action in the here and now, we can create the life we want.
