🎋 The magic of Patience!
Dec 09, 2023 3:31 pm
Hey .
If you've been working on something for so long but haven't seen any results, this might be the only message you need to hear today.
So in China, there is a certain tree grown there known as the Chinese bamboo tree.
And it is said that it takes five years before it grows out of the ground.
However, within the first four years, you wouldn't see anything.
No growth, no progress, nothing.
But in the fifth year, something crazy happens.
In just six weeks, it grows to 90 feet tall.
Now you may be thinking, “What does any of this have to do with what you want to achieve?”
Well, that thing you want to achieve isn’t really that different from a Chinese bamboo tree.
It's easy to give up when you don't see immediate results.
But just because you aren't seeing any progress doesn't mean you’re not making any.
The truth is that anything worthwhile takes time and patience.
And patience doesn't mean just sitting around and doing nothing.
It's persisting at something while still not expecting immediate results.
So don't give up on that dream you've been chasing, because you could be on the verge of eating your own fifth year.
I hope this helped.

An Honest Conversation with Emma Chamberlain
I have been waiting for this for so long, and finally, I got a chance to experience it. This is an interview by my favourite colab interviewers, Colin and Samir, and one of the most authentic people on YouTube, Emma Chamberlain.
I have always wanted to get a glampse into her life, and thanks to Colin and Samir, I got it. This is such a raw, honest, and fascinating view of her YouTube journey.
She talks about the challenges of being in show business, why she has reduced the frequency of YouTube uploads in recent years, what her current projects are, including a podcast deal with Spotify, her involvement in the fashion world, and many more.
It was really fun to watch, and I’d highly encourage you to check it out, especially if you’re interested in getting into the world of content creation.
