Nova Scotian Wildfires

After a week of being evacuated, our very own cookie company co-creator and fluffy white boot aficionado, Donna, was allowed back into her home after the fires, and we're happy to report that her home, family, pets, and the cookie mobile have all survived unscathed.

The food in the fridge and freezer didn't make it without power for so long, but compared to the loss some have faced, we are grateful that is all that happened to her family. If you want to donate to help out, please look at the NS Red Cross website here.

Our friend and NS Cookie fan, Julie, is a firefighter in Nova Scotia and we would like to give her and all our firefighters, first responders, and volunteers a huge shoutout. Thank you all for the amazing work you have done in protecting lives and homes in these difficult times. (And continue to do!)

Our hearts go out to all those in Canada and the USA affected by the unprecedented wildfire season this year.
