Thank you, !

Last night's No Typewriters / No Talking session was a smashing success. Thank you to everyone who made it to Tempo Rubato. It was really fun and it seemed like everyone had a productive hour of sustained silent writing.

Hope the time change wasn't too confusing. A couple of people reached out asking if we could be flexible with the time so people could go watch the Matildas.

The No Typewriters / No Talking Team would love your feedback.

This quick survey will take you less than 5 minutes and will help us make the sessions even betterer in the future πŸ‘‡

GIVE FEEDBACK NOW

What's next?

Three things:

  1. We're locking in dates at West Space and Tempo Rubato for the rest of 2023! Keep an eye on your inbox for times.
  2. We're changing ticketing provider for the next sessions. The No Typewriters / No Talking Team have heard you're not impressed with Eventbrite so we've been working to find another ticketing provider more inline with our ethos. More on this soon.
  3. We've set up a shop on Redbubble so you can get a very limited range* of stickers, magnets, and coffee mugs with the No Typewriters / No Talking logo. Slap the stickers on your laptop, mash the magnets on your typewriter (just don't bring it to a session), and slurp coffee out of a mug to show your support for No Typewriters / No Talking.

Buy a sticker or coffee mug!

THANK YOU

This is all possible because of your support. So thank you and we can't wait to see you β€” but not talk to you β€” soon.

In the meantime: stop checking your emails, close your browser/put down your phone, and go write something (once you've filled out the survey).

The No Typewriters / No Talking Team

*The No Typewriters / No Talking Team had a very long discussion about encouraging needless consumption and creating waste. Where we ended was this: we'd heard from attendee feedback you'd like ways to show your support and start conversations about No Typewriters / No Talking. Looking at the large selection of crap Redbubble allows people to create, stickers, magnets, and cups were the least wasteful and actually useful. The other thing about using Redbubble is that it means we don't have to print a large number of things and have them sitting there potentially going to waste and also us gambling that people might buy them. Got reckons about this move? Tell us in the feedback form!
