As salaam alaykum ,

Have you ever felt like your body is trying to tell you something, but you're just too busy to listen? That was me in 2021 when I faced a sudden health crisis—a hyperthyroid.

My body was in full revolt. It took months of visiting doctors, losing a considerable amount of weight, and battling symptoms like constant heart racing and muscle weakness before I finally got a diagnosis. I felt like I was being poisoned from the inside.

The doctor attributed my condition to autoimmune issues, but I knew that the root cause wasn’t just physical. I had been pushing myself relentlessly—closely spaced pregnancies, diving into business just six weeks postpartum, and never allowing myself to truly heal, rest and simply be.

By 2020, I had faced significant losses in business and life, yet I kept going. I was on a high of DOING. I was a bundle of stress!

My body finally said, “Enough.”

My body tried to warn me with familiar leg pains, but I ignored it. Then it escalated, leading to severe vomiting—something I almost never experienced. Looking back, I realize my body was desperately trying to rid itself of the toxins and pent-up emotions that had built up over time.

Since then, I’ve been on a healing journey. Conventional medicine has helped manage the symptoms, but I knew deep down that real healing required addressing the root causes holistically.

I started with something simple yet profound: finding my voice.

This is what led me to transform Nisabaah from an apparel brand into a well-being-focused brand, and to create the Radiant Woman Podcast. It hasn’t been smooth sailing, but it was exactly what my well-being demanded of me then—and still does now.

, my question to you today is: What is your well-being demanding of you?

I don’t know your story, but I do know this: if you ignore the needs of your body, mind, and soul, they will eventually make themselves known. Whether through the weight that won’t budge, the lack of energy, unexplained mood swings, anxiety, temper flare-ups, a constant feeling that something is missing, frequent illnesses, or just an overwhelming sense of dissatisfaction. The signs are there, but we often overlook them.

The goal isn’t to live a problem-free life —that’s impossible, as this life is filled with tests! But it is possible to live in a way that allows you to respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively, to find a balance between being and doing.

That’s why I’m so excited to introduce you to the Nisabaah Nurture Circle, launching this September in shaa Allah. This isn’t just another community—it’s a sanctuary for Muslim women dedicated to holistic well-being and heart purification.
