A couple weeks ago my therapist told me we had 5 months left before he left.

In this piece I explain why I think that was ultimately for the best.

(9/11) Writing Prompt: In honor of the collapse of the twin towers, I want to challenge you to think of a time when you were a part of a disaster that was larger than just you or your small community and tell that story.

Maybe, like me, you were there for a hurricane or other natural disaster. (Hint: if you can't think of one, use COVID.)
